What is Photo Restoration and why should you be interested ?
Photo restoration is the process of taking damaged, torn, worn, faded or even a simple imperfection in a photograph and "restoring" the image to its original, intended state. When Snyder Site Solution restores a photograph not only do we provide the ability to have the photograph reproduced on high quality photo paper, but we also preserve the image digitally. Digital files do not fade, warp or change over time and will remain intact as long as the media that contains the photograph remains readable. We also offer conversion services which is taking an original image and converting it to digital format even if there is no damage.
While Snyder Site Solutions has extensive experience repairing and restoring photographs, sometimes a photograph simply cannot be restored. In the event that this occurs, we will refund your payment for that photograph and if applicable refund your deposit minus any shipping charges. We will also return your original photograph to you free of charge via USPS First Class Mail in a protective package..

The original photograph above (left) is over 50 years old. The coloring on the original photograph was intended to be black and white however many years of tobacco smoke had turned the photograph a yellow tint. Torn edges were eliminated from the photograph, fold marks and scratches were removed and the clarity of the image was greatly increased. We stripped the image of its color layers to remove the yellow tint and then sepia toned the photograph to give it an antiqued look.. The original size of the image was only a 3.5 x 5 and was re-printed on high quality photo paper at an amazing 8.5 x 10 with no loss of clarity or quality. The photo above was considered to have moderate damage.

The above prices are for conversion and restoration of the images only. A digital copy of all files are included in the above costs . Available media formats include CD & DVD. Files included are in JPG format. Red eye removal is inlcuded for every photograph at no additional charge. Discounts may be given at Snyder Site Solutions discrection for large orders.

Proofing Your Photographs & Payments
|
Once your photographs have been restored we offer a process called "proofing". This allows you to see your photographs before making your final payment. We can send your proofs via email or you can view and download them in your web browser. Proof formats include PDF and JPG. If you are not satisfied with the finished product we will either work with you to achieve the desired outcome or release you from making any further payments.
You will receive an invoice via PayPal for your order. The non-refundable $50.00 deposit is due upon receipt of the inital invoice. The remaining balance of your order is due after proof approval and before shipping the digital files. You have 10 days from the date of invoice to make payment in full. After the 10th day original photo's will be returned along with a reminder of payment due. If payment is made after original images are returned there will be an additional shipping charge to ship the media containing the digital restored files.
Snyder Site Solutions accepts PayPal, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and Debit Cards.
Once your order is placed you will receive a PayPal invoice and an official statement via email with details about your order and instructions on how to complete payment.
You will initially be invoiced for the $50 deposit of the restoration cost, then a second invoice when the restoration project is complete.

Shipping Information - Getting Your Photographs to Snyder Site Solutions
|
Snyder Site Solutions knows that your photographs are one of the most valuable possessions you own. That is why we take great care in getting the photographs from you to us.
Once your order has been processed and your deposit paid, Snyder Site Solutions will send you a postage paid USPS Express Mail Flat Rate Envelope. You will receive your postage paid evelope within 2-3 days of your order being processed. Shipping instructions will accompany your envelope along with protective water-proof packaging to ensure the safetly of your photographs.
USPS Express Mail takes 1 business day for delivery insuring that your photographs spend as little time in transit as possible. USPS Express Mail delivers 365 days a week. $100.00 insurance is included in the Express Mail Flat Rate Envelope. Additional insurance is available upon request. You will also be able to track your package online with a USPS tracking number and you will receive an email when your package has reached us confirming its safe arrival..
Simply package your photographs according to our instructions and take it to your nearest United States Post Office.

Shipping Information - Returning Your Original Photographs & Shipping Your Digital Media
|
|
Snyder Site Solutions will ship your original photographs along with your digital media containing your enhanced photographs packaged securely via USPS Express Mail free of charge. We will also include a printed proof sheet along with an order form for our printing services. We will provide you with the tracking number for the shipment and we will receive notice when the package has been delivered.
